Discover the TUDOR Black Bay Chronograph

Let us talk TUDOR timepieces for a second; for years, the brand has been carving a path to manufacturing some of the most prestigious sought-after timepieces, and we think it is fair to say that they have definitely succeeded.  

Today we are blessed with the presence of the new TUDOR Black Bay Chronograph in both the black and white dials. Now before you ask, no we do not have a preference. And here is why, TUDOR timepieces all have a unique appeal; the white dial is more striking and eye-catching whereas the black dial is understated and sleek. Both are incredible timepieces.  

Let's begin with the details, the new Black Bay Chronograph collection combines diving and motorsport traditions in a chronograph. The watches feature contrasting sub-counters and a fixed bezel in 316L stainless steel. The insert is presented in a black anodised aluminium and shows a tachymetric scale. The contrasted sub-dials play wonderfully with the light and just look fantastic with any attire. The 41mm steel case sits as wonderfully as ever and is the perfect hybrid size; not to large but not too small. The snowflake hands are still a key feature and are an iconic detail in the Black Bay collection.  

Dome crystal sapphire glass adds the extra reassurance that the dial will not get scratched or damaged. A screw down crown ensures a waterproofness of a whopping 200 metres and is complimented by the two pushers at 2 o'clock and 4 o'clock all of this and we have not even started on the incredible movement.  

This model sports the COSC Certificated manufacturer Calibre MT5813 movement, with a self-winding system and a bi-directional rota. It has an incredible 70-hour power reserve and comes with a five-year guarantee, which if anything is a statement of the confidence TUDOR has in their unmatched quality.  

Overall, we love these new models. They pay tribute to TUDOR's extensive heritage in producing chronographs for over the past 50 years, and these are other epic releases.
