Oris Watches
For more than 100 years Oris has been making watches in Switzerland. Our watches are purely mechanical and are marked out by their distinctive design. Not a single battery-powered watch leaves our workshops. The symbol of Oris mechanicals is the red rotor—its a sign of the natural power that fuels our watches, and a registered trademark. Oris offers the luxury of common sense. Oris is one of the few Swiss watch companies to remain independent and privately owned.

Oris is renowned for its mechanical watches, offering high-quality Swiss craftsmanship with a focus on innovation and value. All Oris watches are mechanical, and the brand is known for being independently operated, providing luxury timepieces at competitive prices.
Yes, Oris offers a range of professional-grade diving watches, including the popular Aquis and ProDiver collections. These watches feature high water resistance, rotating bezels, and luminous hands, making them perfect for underwater exploration.
The Oris Big Crown collection is one of the brand’s most iconic lines, featuring a distinctive oversized crown, which was originally designed for pilots to easily adjust their watches while wearing gloves. These models often include a date pointer complication and classic aviation-inspired design.
Oris exclusively produces mechanical watches, focusing on both automatic and manual winding movements. The brand does not manufacture quartz watches, as they are dedicated to traditional Swiss watchmaking methods.
Oris watches are highly accurate, with many models using the Swiss-made ETA and Sellita movements. Their watches typically have an accuracy of around -5/+20 seconds per day. Oris also offers some models with chronometer certification for even higher precision.
Oris watches are made in Hölstein, Switzerland. The brand has been manufacturing watches in the same location since 1904, maintaining Swiss watchmaking standards of precision and craftsmanship.
Oris watches offer excellent value for money, providing high-quality Swiss craftsmanship at a more affordable price than many luxury brands. Their focus on mechanical movements and independence also makes them attractive to collectors and enthusiasts alike.
Oris watches should be serviced every 3-5 years to maintain their performance and longevity. Regular cleaning, avoiding magnetic fields, and ensuring the watch is properly wound will help keep your Oris in top condition. For diving models, regular water resistance checks are recommended.
