Hands-On with the Zenith Chronomaster Original

Zenith have done it again Back in January Zenith made huge waves in the industry with the Chronomaster sport collection and today they are back with the brand New Chronomaster Original, and wow does it pack a punch.

The new Zenith Chronomaster Original comes in three variations to suit any style. Stealing the show is headliner, the Chronomaster Original. Sized at 38mm and cased in stainless steel this watch has an instantly-recognizable grey, black, and blue tri-colour dial, a signature of Zenith Chronographs. Zenith has also released some beautiful variations of the Chronomaster Original, one with a rose gold case and a second dial option“ the incredibly handsome reverse panda dial with black with silver sub-registers.

Let's take a closer look at the specs of the Chronomaster Original with the steel bracelet. The case diameter comes in at 38mm, a really nice size that feels comfortable on the wrist. This piece would pair brilliantly with a suit and tie but is equally as perfect for a casual Sunday morning shopping trip. To top this off it comes in at 12.6mm in thickness which raises the profile enough to be noticed and catch the eye but not enough to accidentally scratch the face.

The indexes are coated with Super-Luminova which is great for wearing out at night, you'll have no trouble reading this watch in the dark. A great advantage of this watch is that it is water resistant up to an amazing 50 metres, total piece of mind if wearing this watch at the pool or seaside.

Cases come in stainless steel or rose gold. This watch is highly functional with a super-fast 1/10th of a second central chronograph. This watch houses the iconic El Primero movement that has been a staple in Zenith watches for over 50 years. The El Primero 3600 used in this model is an automatic movement that beats at a frequency of 36,000 VPH. This model also holds an incredible 60 hours of power.
