Now, the bit you've been waiting for, let's get a little more personal with the Oris Divers Sixty-Five.

Founded by Paul Cattin and Georges Christian in 1904 in the Swiss town of Holstein, Oris has grown to become the well-loved and respected brand it is today. The Oris Sixty Five is a re-launch of the brand's most popular models first introduced in 1965 and was inspired by the original design of the model. Although influenced by the original, this model is brought up-to-date with state of the art watchmaking techniques and contemporary technologies.

Now that we have touched on the history, let's get into the specs of this master timepiece. The case measures in at 42mm in diameter and fits well on the wrist, feeling light and maintaining a great presence. Comfort is key in this model with a lightweight strap that you can wear all day long with no issues. The Diver Sixty-Five is water resistance to 100 meters, so you have absolute peace of mind when around water.  

I do love the dial on this Oris. The dark navy blue colour really compliments the stainless steel case and black strap. It has a doomed crystal case made of scratch-resistant and anti-reflective sapphire which gives the timepiece a distinctive vintage look, a nod to the original design.

Beating at the heart of this model is an automatic movement that features 26 jewels and allows an impressive power reserve of an incredible 38 hours. A 2 years manufacturer warranty is offered with this model which is testament to the quality of this watch.  

Overall this is an incredible piece and would be an amazing addition to any watch collection.
