The Making of the Moments Collection

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Moments collection“ an intimate range of classic and timeless engagement rings. Meticulously designed by Jemma, our Head of Buying, each ring from this range contains hidden and subtle details that are truly personal for each couple.

We sat with Jemma, our Head of Buying to find out just how this wonderful collection came to life.  

The design process for this collection began mid-Summer of 2020, I wanted to create a collection of exclusive engagement rings that had a point of difference and unique detailing that reflected our mantra to always be a cut above the rest'. 

With so many variations of an engagement ring on the market, I wanted to create a collection that would tell a different love story for each couple. Each ring from this collection has subtle hidden details, with each holding a different value for every wearer.  

I had created many unique designs, sitting at my kitchen table every night adding more details. Eventually with over 60 designs to choose from, I presented these to our managing director Harry who gave me his personal recommendations, from the first sketch to final review. Harry, as a Gemologist, has brought more than three decades of experience in the diamond industry with him to Chisholm Hunter, so it really meant a lot working so closely with him on this collection. 

Finally, we chose the final four designs together and from there the moments' concept was born, each a unique concept for all of those little moments in life.
